Our Pastor

Pastor Nathanael Jensen is a 2015 graduate of Martin Luther College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in biblical languages, and a 2019 graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, where he received his Masters of Divinity. He also has three years of previous ministry experience in Reno, Nevada, and Saginaw, Michigan. Pastor Jensen began serving at Cross of Christ in August of 2021, and is so happy to call this congregation his family.

Pastor Jensen and his wife Elena just got married in June and love calling Las Cruces home. Elena previously taught Spanish at one of our church body's high schools in Michigan before getting married and moving to Las Cruces. She is looking forward to getting involved in the community and working as a substitute teacher in the Las Cruces Public Schools.

Pastor Jensen enjoys anything that includes physical activity, music, or getting to know people. But most of all, he enjoys sharing the saving message of Jesus Christ.
