Be holy, because I, the Lord your God, am holy (Lev 19:2). Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself. Do this and you will live (Luke 10:27-28). Whoever keeps the whole law, and yet stumbles at just one point, is guilty of breaking all of it (James 2:10). All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Rom 6:23). God made him who had no sin (Jesus) to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God (2Corinthians 5:21). You are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household (Ephesians 2:!9). Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life (John 3:36).
